- Understand the drawings and the design intent.
- Use CSI MasterFormat to keep things organized.
- Double check before every submission to make sure your specifications are still coordinated with the drawings.
- Use a visual checklist on the drawings (or eSpecs for Revit) to make sure you cover everything depicted or needed.
- Have your own personal checklist of scope and specifications that can easily get left out or missed.
