I wanted a desk for my new apartment. Work had scrap lumber they can’t use and will throw away due to warps, splits, nails, dings etc. that make it not suitable for what they need. Work let me use their scrap wood and workshop. I made a desk.
Making the legs all at once, made a few extra because I like the design and might use it for a dining table.
Setting the legs in place testing for a good location and offset.
Adding the storage space.
Legs fastened and table flipped over!
Adding trim for aesthetics.
Adding polyurethane coating to top surface to protect plywood from me, and me from plywood splinters.
Final result!
